Ned Lott is Creative Producer and Casting Director on Martoos Studios’ first animated feature “Heaven: The First War,” and has a wide range of animation experience both domestically and globally. He was a Producer, Voice Director and Casting Director with Walt Disney Studios on seven Studio Ghibli titles, including Hayao Miyazaki’s Oscar™ nominated theatrical release “Howl’s Moving Castle.”
Other notable accomplishments include casting Liam Neeson as the voice of Aslan for “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” Ned also co-Produced and cast the English version of the 2014 Academy Award nominated animated feature “Ernest & Celestine” starring Forest Whitaker and Paul Giamatti, and voice directed “The Lego Movie Video Game” with Morgan Freeman, Chris Pratt, Will Arnett and Elizabeth Banks. Ned spent years at Disney Character Voices casting projects for “Cars,” “Monsters Inc.,” “The Incredibles,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” and many other Disney/Pixar projects.
He also voice-directed multiple “Lord of the Rings” projects for Warner Bros. On the International front, he cast and voice-directed animated features out of South Africa, Spain, Russia, France and China including dubbing the highest grossing animated feature ever created in China, “Monkey King: Hero is Back.” Ned is Creative Producer and Casting Director on Martoos Studios’ first animated feature “Heaven: The First War.”
